So a new cover art, this time for a genderbent Harry Potter story by a new friend of mine DarkLadyEris.  She was just so enthusiastic about my art and so supportive that I was more than happy to do art for her fantastic story. You can find more about her story here.  The vision for her version of Harry is closer to canon Harry than mine. The lady in the picture is the gorgeous Phoebe Tonkin. The little boy is Elliott Sancrant.

Aster Jane Portrait
The transitioned version of FTM trans woman Harry Potter, Aster Jane Potter. Portrayed by Bryce Dallas Howard.

My muse has been taken up by reworking my transgender Harry Potter series ‘Criss Cross”. I have always love the aesthetics of actress Bryce Dallas Howard and I knew I wanted her to represent my transwoman, Harry Potter. So I have been working through both with art as well with writing and this is the result.

Slytherin Prince

The Slytherin Prince – Photo Manipulation

Slytherin Prince - Draco Malfoy standing in a hallwayway in a gray suit and hat. This is another suit porn type of piece, this time with my favorite Slytherin Draco Malfoy.  You are probably wondering why I didn’t use the movie version of him. I actually prefer fanon androgenous slightly effeminate but still bad ass Draco Malfoy to his canon counterpart.   And as much as I adore Tom Felton, Lucky Blue Smith fit my version’s aesthetics more than Felton did. Everything in this piece, expect the background is manipulated and I’m very happy in the end how well it turned out.

This book cover was at least eight hours of work, and I enjoyed every minute it.  This was a real challenge folks, I only a picture of a body suit and I lot of hope that everything would work out to start with. And in the end, this book cover exceeded my expectations. I also want to give thanks to Akela who basically gave me only a few requirements and just told me to do this as best I could.

I also wanted to thank every author who signed up and responded emphatically to my posts on Facebook beginning authors to allow me to art for them. Currently, I have a facebook group with 38 members and a list of stories to do art for as long as my arm.  If you want to join you can do so here.

Make sure to give some love to Akela’s  fantastic story and if you are interested I got some nice wallpapers and social media swag available here as well.
